Mediascope measures the audience volume for the radio stations and analyzes the characteristics and preferences of the radio listeners across the country among the residents aged 12+. The data from the Radio Index project helps radio stations program their airtime, as well as it helps advertisers and advertising agencies to plan and analyze their radio advertising campaigns.
Mediascope has been conducting Radio Index research since 2000. The project covers the entire population of Russia at the age of 12+. We interview over 146 thousand people by phone and online annually for the purposes of this research. The survey is based on the Day-After-Recall method: during the survey the respondent recalls which radio stations he listened to the day before. Radio Index users receive data for all of Russia as a whole and for the 21 largest cities. This is information on the volume and socio-demographic profile for the audience of the radio stations, data on the listening habits and characteristics.
