Being a commercial director, Mikhail will develop relations with clients from all market segments, supervise commercial negotiations, plan and implement a long-term commercial strategy of Mediascope.

Earlier, the company did not have a commercial director position. Creating this role is a logical move caused by the changes in Mediascope’s organizational structure, new products and solutions development.

Mikhail Zotov joined the company as a general director’s commercial advisor in 2019. Before working at Mediascope, Mikhail had leading positions in different media industry companies.

Mediascope’s CEO, Ruslan Tagiyev, says, they have known Mikhail since 1997, and have worked together on shaping and developing a Russian media and advertising industry. Once Mikhail was Mediascope’s client, he knows the market needs for research products, has considerable expertise in media and experience in large projects management. Ruslan says, he trusts Mikhail to be a highly qualified professional and is happy about his new role in Mediascope.

Mikhail Zotov’s bio:

Was born in Moscow in 1971.

Graduated from Moscow State University of Commerce, majored in economy (global economy).

1997 – 1998 - radio projects manager at Komkon-2.

1998-2003 - marketing and research director at Ultra Production (“Our radio”, “Ultra”).

2003-2004 - marketing director at the publishing house “OVA-Press”.

2005-2010 - general director at Ultra Production.

2010-2015 - deputy chairman of the board at Russian Media Group.

2015-2020 - media and telecom consultant on management, marketing and commerce.
